Well I have being a victim of this strong hold but God helped me. Pornographic materials does not satisfy the sexual desires of a man but rather increases that desire. The desire increases as one engages him or herself in that act which eventually leads to a masturbation.

When God created sex, it was meant to be between the man and his wife, anything outside that concept means deviation from the mindset of God will originally created sex which seeking sexual satisfaction is one of those deviation.

Also when we hear of rape cases at times, it's not as though it was all the fault of a lady being indecently dressed or when ladies gang up to rape is not because the man showed his nakedness but because in most cases, the rapist must have engaged with pornographic materials which masturbation couldn't heal their desire, therefore they look for a person to force their desires on.
