Thanks for your comment. As for sad though, heh, hardly, as looks can be deceiving! If you knew her you'd be amused by your comment. ;) She was in a restful mood, as she often is when she's perched on top of the chair, as in this photo. She's pretty carefree, affectionate, playful, and a total cuddle bear. I got her as a rescue. She was from a litter of kittens where the people called a rescue group right away to find them homes, so she's known nothing but love her whole life. She's also a demanding diva for attention, which I find adorable. It's my other cat that I posted pictures of who's had a harder life (rescued from the street) but in photos she looks very serene (which she is--but she's skittish).
