The Seven Day Beer Challenge Day 4 : Dark and Mysterious

Another day another beer. This time I tried to get something that is considered a good beer.

Valmiermuiža : Dark Smoked Beer

Valmiermuiža is a kinda well respected beer brand in Latvia. You could find it in most of the bars and restaurants. Valmiermuiža beers are more on the bitter side and this one is just more of the same but with some smoky texture.
It's all around well balanced dark beer. It's mainstream. It's not a craft beer. It tastes like a smoked sausage with honey.

Should you try it when visiting Latvia? Well the thing is you most likely will if you are visiting any of the restaurants. I just somehow had managed to avoid it. It's good and I'd suggest it with some red meat.
