Suggesting you join the engagement league of @abh12345 and see how you do. The top 100 steemers over there are the cream of steem engagement and you can learn a lot from them.
Standard theory of good commenting has the idea of leaving comments of 3 sentences or more, and adding info to the conversation. Replying to replies adds more benefit than the first top-level reply.
