I think one the oddest and most sad aspect of this story is how the family reacted. At first they seemed normal and outraged like any family that lost a 27 year old who had a bright future and all that, but then they seemed cowed and only would repeat Democratic party talking points. I can think of 3 reasons why, A) they are so blinded by their ideology that when the grief subsided they decided to consider Rich a sacrifice for their beliefs B)they were paid to keep quiet C) they were made to understand that they were next if the attitude didn't change. One has to wonder about this one.
