Seriously? - When I am calling you.

Customer: "Hi Lucy here from xyz Ltd. Nora has a problem printing."

Me: So why are you calling and not Nora?

Customer: "Oh do you want to speak to Nora?"

Me: Well it might be an idea?

A couple of seconds later.

Customer: "Hi Nora here, we bought a printer, not from you by the way, but none of us can print and I wanted to check if there was anything you can think of before I call the people we purchased it from?"

Me: No I can't think of anything, better give them a call.

Sheesh

Na, just trying to protect the innocent, or stupid, whichever you prefer? :-D

What? Not even a "Did you turn it off and back on again?".
You could have had so much fun with that call.

The conversion of time to money in that case is collecting good content for a steemit post.

You'll see a few of these story's that are essentially people trying to get a service or a fix for nothing. The trick is to not let them get away with it

Printers are the worst, people will think they're clever by buying them from Argos for £2.37 and then realising they're either not fit for purpose or that they have no knowledge how to get them working in an office environment. If they had purchased from us, while being a bit more expensive, we would offer a configuration service or at the very least would offer some low level assistance when they phoned us for help.

I get that.
That's why I would have had a bit of fun and still not fixed their problem.
I did Blackberry support for a service provider, many years ago, and we'd often get calls from customers of competitor service providers.
Pretty rude of them really.
