Famous in love copied to Bojack horseman scene?

When you are a fan of the series as I usually relate many things that happen in a series with another and sometimes can be mere coincidence and others seem too similar to seem coincidental. 

For the people who don't know Bojack Horseman is an original series of Netflix for adults, something like American Dad or The Simpsons, and focuses on a horse that after being a TV star doesn't know which direction should take his life. 

 Now, if you know Bojack Horseman but do not know what is Famous in love, is a series of love and drama that focuses on the life of Paige (Bella Thorne) who becomes famous and must face the consequences of fame in his life and those of his best friends. 

Now that they know what the series will have to warn that if you are not up to date you should close the article because it contains  SPOILER OF BOTH.

 In the third season of BoJack Horseman we can see the horse do everything possible to make his Oscar nomination worthwhile and can win this, he goes shelters for children, acyls of elders and charities in addition to an infinity of interviews to ensure that wins That Oscar, because in Famous in love happens exactly the same, the character of Jordan Wilder played by Keith powers does exactly the same as Bojack to win the Oscar, coincidence? 

 So, I don't know if it's mere coincidence or copied from Bojack Horseman. What do you think?
