Serie review!!! Peaky Blinders (crime/gangster)

Hi Guys,

Since i love watching series and watched so many series i think it is a good idea to post some reviews on several series. I'm starting with Peaky Blinders the serie is on Netflix.

The story of Peaky Blinders:
Peaky Blinders is a British television action crime drama set in 1920s Birmingham, England in the aftermath of World War I. The series, which was created by Steven Knight and produced by Caryn Mandabach Productions and Tiger Aspect Productions, follows the exploits of the Shelby crime family. Cillian Murphy plays Tommy Shelby, the gang's leader, and Sam Neill as Chester Campbell is a commissioned detective who is tasked with suppressing the gang.[1] The series creators have reused the name of Peaky Blinders, a 19th century urban youth gang who were active in the city until the 1890s and were believed to sew razor blades into their caps.

So now you know the story! If you like crime, gang and mafia series this one is absolutely a must see.

Tommy Shelby is a ruthless mob who will do everything to make money for the family. His character is a no feelings person and he don't give a shit about anything except money and his family. He will do what it takes to achieve his goals.
Before i saw the serie i didn't know what to expect. I did not find the year the serie is played in attractive. It is played in 1920 so that's a really long time ago. But when i started looking i liked it more then i ever could imagine. The characters in the serie are made perfect. They are also gipsy people living by the gipsy rules. It fits the family well!

Tommy Shelby and his brothers are al fellow-soldiers and their were fighting in France in World War I. His nephew has a traumatic issue because of that. His name is Arthur Shelby and he is the right hand of Tommy. He is the one that do the most of the dirty work. He is a little bit crazy and played his roll in the show very good.

In the serie Tommy Shelby and his family are making money with fraud on betting horses. Also they export drank to the united states and they are robbing enemies by taking over real estate. In the year 1920, they didn't have computers, so if you steal a legal license the place is yours.

Offcourse Tommy and his family will have a lot of problems. He is forced by the police to work with them and later in the serie the goverment is causing problems with him. But he is a smart guy and doesn't fear anything. So every step he takes is thought out.

Along the way people will die and the family will face different problems. The problems they have are with the police, Goverment, rival gangs en the italian mafia.

Rating: 8.5

I decided to rate the serie with a 8.5 because i like it very much and the serie got my attention the whole time i was watching. I really like the story and the characters they made are good as hell.
