Me too. But the "official" TV story never made sense.
Especially since the "official" story is the poor excuse for several VERY EXPENSIVE wars on "terror" (in our names with our blood & treasure, not to mention the millions of innocents') and the excuse for taking away our freedoms and liberties and the excuse for spying on everyone all the time - it seemed worth looking into.
What TV/movie character has the name Lovejoy (besides the TV series)? Is it from James Bond or something? Maybe I'm just confusing things.

Right right right. I thought maybe I was confusing it with Game of Thrones' Greyjoy family.
The truth is not revealed like the Wizard of Oz behind the curtain. The truth slowly emerges from the swamp (which will never be drained) over time. There's the "official" story about the JFK assassination - and then there's the hive of stories with various facts and testimonies that trickle out over time and most stories look pretty much the same with slight variations but are similar enough you understand the hive mind. The image may not be complete but you get the idea, like Lady Liberty sticking out of the beach at the end of Planet of the Apes.
