I and Travel - part. 2 # Seoul(ancient palaces at night)
(it is Geunjeong jeon, the palace where national level ceremonies used to be launched.)
Hello to someone or just me lol.
It has been about 2 weeks since I posted last one.
in the last 2weeks, I quit my job and traveled Seoul especially ancient palaces at night.
Watching ancient palaces is a rare experience to even Korean.
There are several reasons but simple to sum up.
It is opened to ordinary people since 2011. (It is the first time in 615 years)
- In 2011, it was exceptional temporary open for celebrating G20 is to be launched in Seoul.
- Then response of People was awesome.
- So Cultural Heritage Administration decided to open The palace at night event regularly.
Of course, you can see only partial palaces about 40% of but it has worthy to go few times. (because palace after sunset with palace before sunset is totally different)
therefore, you would better to go palace at night if you are in open period and in Seoul.
There are 5 palaces in Seoul, I went to only two palaces.
Only two palaces are opened at night until 2018.
