RE: STEEMIT SEO PART FOUR - Images, Videos, Alt Text and Inbound/Outbound Links.
connect on steemit.chat, create good looking high quality content consistently, make really good comments so people notice you and don't bother with doing SEO ;-P
I'm not in any chats - I see people talk about how they waste time in them. I would love to see your reasoning on this. I have bookmarked many and tried to enter a few. I cannot even understand the interfaces and have never made contact in any of them. If you have any "chats for dummies" type stuff, I will be happy to look at it.
I'm bookmarking this series and thank you very much. Also letting you know that your first link above leads to part 3 instead of part 1 and should be changed.
Thank you for helping the minnows. We need it!
Hi @fitinfun, the idea is to be networking. One of the best example is @lemouth (my brother in law). He is a scientist. At first he wrote articles that didn't get much attention. Then he got in steemit.chat and decided to connect with other scientists.
Then he started a project called STEEMSTEM which is a grouping of people who care about science and curate good articles. Then they could have started a curation trail (I'll do an article on how to start a curation trail soon) to give more visibility to STEM related topic.
People value people who want to increase the value of the network.
Chatting is the way you do that.
