Lending plattforms and selfregulation

Bitconnect is the best and most well known lending plattform that ran off with whats said to be over a billion dollars of bitcoin.
it is said that people commited suicide after bitconnect ran off not only that but they targeted the very poor. people who did not have much and got scammed out of there savings.
Maybe some will say well your own fault, but if we would have self regulated and educated people about these scams there would not have been so many affected.
in japan exchanges are getting together to better regulate the crypto space.
what do the 2 have to do with one anouther.... alot as we see more selfregulation coming into the crypto space crypto investors new and old will be more confident.
Selfregulation is alot better than any outside force that has no idea about how the crypto wolrd works its a very delicate eco system thats still very young and has a bright future ahead, if we in the crypto space can selfregulate with success maybe the outside forces ( government) wont be so willing to over regulate.
