Respect your elders or you will fail is something you get told since day 1. I agree its one of the biggest life rules you have to follow but also respect yourself, respect your worth and your role in society/office. How do you disrespect an elder? By talking ill of them. Thats exactly how your disrespect yourself. Respect yourself and you will for sure excel in whatever youre doing.
There is definitely a blessing for honoring your parents. Hopefully they are honorable as well.
Yea its a necessity because there is this stateme t that goes like this 'what goes around comes around' in this case it is refering at both good deeds and bad deeds
