Become the Director of Your Own Story Using the Secret…

I recently watch a show on Netflix called “The Secret”; 10/10 for cheesiness but 10/10 for information. In a TL:DR like fashion, the secret they say is the law of attraction & how things/energy in the universe are unbiasedly attracted to each other. And this doesn't just start here because this goes wayyyyy back in to ancient times and religion. In short, I am going to go over these philosophies and religious facts and explain how this mentality can benefit you as well as your money.

Lets get started

You know the old saying how the genie in the lamp gives you three wishes? You do? Great! Now completely throw that away. Because in fact this is not true. Looking back in to the times where the mythical genie in the lamp was created, we can see that in fact the genie in the lamp was able to grant unlimited wishes. Interesting right? Now knowing this, lets move forward . As time goes on people have looked in to the sky for answers and have put their hopes and wishes up there to be answered. Whether this is multiple Gods for different things or one singular power house of a God. The philosophy behinds these religious beliefs is all the same. An unseen power that grants your wishes and makes your dreams come true at their will. All three have the same basic principle just different ways of going about it.

I must give you a heads up as I am about to go in to religious information, biased or unbiased, I am not taking a side or stating my opinion. I am just giving information from the video to present my point.

Many philosophers that we know today such as Buddah, Socrates, Albert Einstein, all knew the secret and how to apply it. Now given this, this mind set isn’t for every one because in my opinion, not every one is made for everything.

Everything that we know is made of energy, in fact we are composed of the same stuff that everything in the universe is composed of. We can technically go down to the smallest sub atomic particles and see the space that exists between each atom in our hand and see straight through it. Knowing this, we can assume that everything in the universe is made of energy some way or another. We do not see or force energy out of our bodies, but we can generate it. Each time we have a thought, we can scientifically and numerically measure the energy out given off by it on brain wave detectors. So what is to say that the universe inst detecting this as well?

So when we realllllyyyy want something and think about it day in and day out we are giving off a lot of energy toward what ever it is we want. And with the law of attraction in effect, we can think that eventually we will receive what we want so badly if we emit off enough energy to attract it.

So what we have done is:

We wished for what we want.
We emitted energy to the universe in hopes of getting an answer
We wait and keep emitting the same energy for what it is we want.

Sound familiar? Well it should because this is what religion is in a sense. Putting your prayers in to a universal figure in hopes that they will return your prayers and wishes. You go to church and pray every week to talk to God and have him help you. You emit energy from your thoughts and prayers to God, and eventually with enough belief and time you will see his answers. (The only reason I am using this as an example is because it is the most familiar to me) But look around, whether you have 1,2,3,4,100 gods, the concept behind it is still there.

You Create Your Own Universe as You Go Along

A great example they use from the movie is the example of debt and the law of attraction. They give a description of a man swamped in debt who cant seem to get out of it. No matter what he does he still gets bill in his mail regardless of his situation. But after learning about the law of attraction and the secret, the man decides to change his mind set.

He takes the debt and what he owes and crosses it out. He then puts what he wants to see from the bank rather than what he has to owe. He puts it on his ceiling above his bed for him to see every time he wakes up in the morning to reinforce what his goal is every night and morning. About a month goes by and nothing happens. But eventually small amounts of income here and there started to flow in & before he knew it, he was getting more check than debt! Amazing, but what is even more amazing is that when he checked his bank account in the time frame he set he was only off his goal by $8,000!

So What? This Just Seems like some kind of Spiritual Thinking?

So how can we apply this to our daily lives and integrate it into our portfolios? Just as the picture says above take the first step.

Define what you want to achieve

Set your goal large or small and define it. Then set it. Example. I want to accumulate bitcoin and be financially free. So I went online and found a ridiculously large bitcoin portfolio and taped it to my ceiling. Appropriately $62 million is always looking at me and vice versa.

Believe

Start to believe that you can do it, and start to visualize what your life would be like if you had already obtained this goal of yours. Feel your self in there and the emotion behind what you wanted. Feel the force of your grip tighten as you accelerate in the car of your dreams. Visualize walking in to your dream home and opening up the front doors to your family and seeing the look on their faces. Visualizing and believing are the key elements to step two. Visualizing helps you to believe in what you want even more than you already have.

Obtain it

Get an image of what it is you want and always have that image somewhere you and see it and pull it out to look at it no matter where you are. Being able to have visual conformation of what your goal is will reinforce this believe and strengthen the law of attraction.
