I am the mice queen can't you see
We are the cats envy.

We are smart as whips and aware of your traps.
It didn't take us long, to beware of things that snap.

We avoid your cheese and peanut butter too.
We are getting smarter, and we watch out for you

We chew your wires, and papers and other things.
You should be thankful, we are not born with wings.

So, go ahead and catch us if you can.
Raiding your goodies is our continual plan.

We will rarely be seen come daylight
but rest assured, you will hear us,
scurry during the night.

Your cats think they are smart, and sometimes they catch us.
But only those, who cannot give up cheese that raise such a fuss.

We are mice and we do as we were born to do,
leave havoc in our wake, and leave you lots of droppings too.
