English muffins or just muffins are very different here in the UK. @rebeccabe A muffin is like those things that McDonald's do. Egg mcmuffin etc. Crumpets are much softer and lovely toasted with lashings of butter and/or a variety of other toppings. tip!
@molometer so that is what a crumpet is, I know it we call them English muffins.. they are really good.
