INTRODUCTION
This book is not meant to be all doom and gloom. It is about surviving as a family or as an individual in the best of times and the worst of times. It is about being prepared and en-joying life to the fullest. You will learn as you apply the lessons taught in the Final Family Survival System that life is not all about “stuff”, but rather about people. Your greatest gift in this life is the ability to get along with others. Particularly you neighbors are people you must know.
I have used parts of several other books that I have written to put this strategy together so if some of the material looks familiar it probably is. It is my purpose to show you why you should take action to be prepared and then how to do it.
About Me:
This book is truly about surviving. It is not supposed to have all of the information that you will need to survive and succeed in the 21 first century. Here is a little information about me. I am a 71 year old redneck from Montana at the time that I am writing this. I will always be a redneck but I might be older when you read this. Here are my qualifications in brief: Raised in Central Montana, Judith Gap to be exact. Graduated from Montana State College, Bozeman, in chemistry education, with a minor in industrial arts. Masters Degree in science from Fort Wright College of Holy Names, now Heritage College, with a major in biology and a minor in physical science.
• Taught high school science for 6 years.
• Ran an auto repair business and wrecking yard for about 15 years.
• Worked for the United States Navy as a radiation protection technician for two years.
• Spent 13 years on the Hanford Nuclear Reservation as a Senior Health Physicist.
• Written 12 Kindle books.
• Graduated from the COLLEGE OF HARD KNOCK with d’s for doing.
I have been through enough trials to know what it takes to get through life. I have failed more than anybody I know. I also have tried more things than anybody in my acquaintances. This qualifies me to write a book on how to succeed and survive the 21st century.
You might find some of my statements in this book objectionable. Okay, you don’t agree, take the good stuff and leave the rest. This is a beginning book, not a bible on how to sur-vive.
I have a PhD from the School of Hard Knocks. We have been through the following disas-ters:
• Bankrupt due to health reasons.
• Burned out by fire twice
• House fire in Shelton, Washington
• Hanford Fire of 2000 from Hanford Nuclear Reservation $250,000 loss.
• Put out of business by Benton County on a change of zoning applications.
• Fired from a $100K per year job because I would not lie for the government or their contractors.
• Assessed unreasonable rates by the local irrigation district while on a fixed in-come.
My education and experience provide the knowledge to write this book. Many parts of this guide will be from other papers and books that I have written. This will not be a com-plete guide on survival but it will be the best that I can provide based upon my knowledge. This book is based upon the best knowledge available at the time of writing. Any infor-mation that you use and implement is your choice and the outcome is your responsibility.
Charles L. (Bud) Evans

DEDICATION
This book is dedicated to my Parents that did a good job. My Mother taught me to garden and my Dad taught me to work hard. These are two things that are missing from the education of most of today’s youth
This book is dedicated to my Mother, Florence I Evans. She was truly a master gardener to produce the amount of food that she did in those mountain gardens. Mom was old school with a lot of the old German level of expectation in her genes. There was only one way to do some-thing and that was the right way, period end of statement. This was how she approached gar-dening both for food and for beauty.
Thanks Mom for your love and toughness.
P.S. She also taught me how to make 50 cents do five dollars worth of work. You can learn some of those tricks in this book.

THE MISSION OF THIS BOOK
The mission of this book is to get you started on the path to self sufficiency and to help you to enjoy a worthwhile life. The definition of self sufficiency will be yours and you must define it for yourself and your family. This book is not about guns and ammo but rather about doing those things that will allow you to survive in nearly any situation. It definitely is not about revolution but with the current conditions in the United States that is a possibil-ity.

Sounds like a damn Good book. I'm going to subscribe to read it! I'm very young, and the best stories I've heard were from people who graduated from the school of hard knock. I plan on reading plenty of wisdom!
