Upvoting Yourself is the Spirit of Entrepreneurialism

I have seen a lot of debate here on Steemit concerning the issue of self-voting. Those who are against it, for me, are clearly not entrepreneurially minded and more than likely have never created there own business. As an entrepreneur, I know full well the importance of investing in yourself, your ideas and your projects. If you have great ideas or talents, you can't just sit around and expect others to come give you money to actualize your dreams. You have to invest in yourself 100% if you really believe in what you are doing, because often, in the beginning, you are alone!

Look anywhere throughout history and study the biographies of some of the most noted entrepreneurs of our time and you will find that they did everything within their power to invest in their projects, talents, dreams or ideas, sometimes even going into debt to build a future for themselves.

If you're just starting out on Steemit and you have talents, by all means invest in yourself! And even if you don't have a lot of talent, invest in your ability of being a good support to those who have talent by upvoting them, commenting and then upvoting your comment. There is nothing wrong with valuing yourself and your efforts towards being supportive. The greatest entrepreneurs became great, not only because they had great ideas and invested in themselves, but also because they had great support systems!
