So, as you are probably aware by now, I am releasing my short stories in the build up to my book launch. 

The next short story is entitled...Perms & Taboo.

In this short story I have focused on Geoff and Carol, characters from the first pentalogy. 

This story is a heartwarming and funny romance with a huge splash of nostalgia.

I really enjoyed writing this, as not only did it bring back some wonderful memories from the 90's, but it was very liberating to write something so upbeat and nostalgic.

 A funny and heartwarming nostalgic tale.

It's an ordinary night in for a middle-aged couple who are preparing for a night of usual TV drama. When Carol realises they have run out of tea bags, Geoff reluctantly agrees to go to the shop. As he walks around he finds himself humming to a 90's classic. Lost in a bubble of nostalgia, he ditches the teabags and grabs a bottle of taboo, which in turn, unfolds the memory of when they first met. 

A night certainly worth remembering.
