You Make It Work

This went up yesterday on my website, SoulcialBizarro.com, and my FB page, www.facebook.com/SoulcialBizarro. I was enjoying my family time WAY too much to post. Here is your #SBMindfulMonday on a Tuesday, yet again.

Today is the day for many to relax and enjoy family - many, not all. There are still people out there who are working, not getting to enjoy family and friends. For those people, I say to you, you rock. Don’t be phased by what everybody else is doing. Keep doing you. Work if you want/need to because it’s going to benefit you.

Getting gifts to others and hanging out is something you can do any day, really. This may be an agreed upon day, but the spirit is supposed to shine through all that. Sharing love, being kind, and giving generously is what this holiday is supposed to teach us. Do that when you can.
Know that you are awesome in the eyes of many. Those last minute forgetters and buyers count on you to make it happen. They are so thankful for you. Hold that with you today. You can hold that with you EVERY day. You are making someone’s day. The fact that you’re out there to save someone’s near disaster makes you a hero/heroine in their eyes. Enjoy your heroism with a smile. And, thank you for being you.
