Warming up for success!

Set the bar low. Yes, you read that right. I have not gone crazy guys, its just an alternative way I came across that can be followed by individuals who are having trouble starting in the first place.

Most of us want to start but are not able to just because we see the mountain and get scared. So, how about we set the bar low and start slowly. Take the first step, start the hike and see where it takes us. When we start working out we warm up first and then slowly and gradually when our body grows bigger and stronger we start to lift more.

Just like working out makes us look better and acts as a motivator for us to keeping on, the same way setting small goals and achieving them gives us a sense of accomplishment which acts as a fuel to keep pushing even when the times are hard and the results not in sight. When we have past experience of achievement and success, we have confidence is ourselves that we can get through a tough situation.

I wanted to write a self-help book for a long time. But the idea of writing 30,000 words for a person with zero experience is daunting in its own right. I came with a plan of writing 300 words everyday, 7 days a week. Its approximates to around 2000 words a week. So if could follow this habit for 4 months I could finish my very own book and I am working on it right now. Breaking the bigger goals into smaller ones keeps the momentum going and helps us to achieve them. It also provides frequent short-term wins which us on track towards abundance and prosperity.

Think about your achievements only and not your failures when you are in a tough position in life. It takes a lot of practice but the person who expects great things to happen can be the only person who sees them in real life.
