Ready. Fire. Aim!

I didn’t make a typo there. This is actually the way you should live your life. Being ready is knowing what you want to do. Basically, the moment you are able to figure out your ultimate goal is the ‘Ready’ part of the phrase.

Most of the people spend too much time trying to find the perfect combination, the perfect formula for success.

Often times what this does is that, it makes us to defensive and risk averse and we tend to think too much before taking a decision.

The result failure. Why? Because the plan never got executed.

I have been guilty of this too, I had a ‘hunch’ and decided that this was something I will do and ended up over-researching it and eventually abandoning the plan and getting absolutely nothing out of it.

I learned from various sources that firing before aiming is a far better idea. My firing first and then seeing the result we are able to create a habit of firing in the first place, which is the most important thing.

We should look and analyse after how huge a variance there is between our shot and the bulls eye. This will save a lot of time as we will know what the problems were and exactly how much work is required to decrease the gap between the desired and the actual result.

Looking at the bigger picture after we aim is important. Often times the result will be far from what we expected it to be, in those times, we should stay strong and appreciate the effort that we decided to something, most of the people don’t even have the courage to make that first move.

The importance of learning from our experiences can’t be overstated. If you keep trying you will never fail, failure is the fear of trying. We fail only when we cease all effort.

Seating out sail is important, the port will appear. That is how the universe works. Faith will carry you to far and beyond islands that you never knew existed.

If you truly believe in your passion, the results will definitely show up. If the hit a roadblock, take a detour. You hit a roadblock because you didn’t pay attention to the sign boards saying that this road is blocked, but it also doesn’t mean that there is no other way. Generally, there is, we just have to find it.
