How to leave a lasting impression!

Although we shouldn't but there is no shying away from the fact that the way one looks, more specifically the way you dress up and show-up at different events and occasions will determine the success in your life. I mean if you want to go get a loan from the bank, you can't just go there in shorts and a trunk.

Although, I think that we should never form a bias or judgement merely by looking at a person, it is inevitable that most people will end up doing it at a subconscious level. I am not saying that you should go outside and start spending hundreds of dollars on transforming your wardrobe (if you can afford to, do it) but I am saying that you should spent a decent amount of time on deciding how you want to look at an occasion that matters. Everyone will tell you to have a decent haircut, have nicely clipped nails and polished shoes etc.. I agree with all that and will recommend you to do all that. But i will tell you something that no one else does.

The most important and the most appreciated thing in today's market and in most of the settings is being enthusiastic about what you like and what you do. If we are enthusiastic the people we talk to have assurance about our commitment and the job we will do will be done with devotion and dedication, the attributes of a truly respected and appreciated individual. When walk in into a meeting your attitude will be the best thing you will wear and this can not be substituted with anything.

The second most important factor is being considerate of others and listen to what others in the meeting or the setting have to say. People like to be liked. It is integral that we treat people as people and not merely as bodies. Becoming a conversationlist will enhance your knowledge and people will be more willing to listen to you when you speak. Being genuine can't be taught it is obvious to people who are successful. Service before self has always been my motto and believe me with honest considerate attitude towards everyone will always lead to better atmosphere all around you.
