HOW TO OVERCOME PROCRASTINATION

Procrastination - Action of delaying or postponing something.
Procrastination is a very common problem. It is a hindrance to achieve your goals. We practice procrastination in such a manner that it has turned into a habit. The habit which we could not let go.
Procrastination has everything to do with your mind. Learn to control your mind, you will be able to overcome procrastination.

So, let us go in and discuss a solution to this problem

  • BREAK COMPLEX TASKS INTO SIMPLE PARTS.
    • Procrastination comes into play when you have a hard or complex task to do.
    • Our mind is always in search of doing easy and comfortable things.
    • So, I suggest you to break the complex task into parts.
    • This would make them easier to achieve in your mind.
  • CHANGE YOUR THINKING.
    • Your thinking is your biggest enemy.
    • Apply discipline in your tasks.
    • Do not worry about the outcomes.
    • Do not pop up with reasons to do things later.
    • Find a reason to stick with what you want to do. The reason must be strong ,most preferably, an emotional one.
  • JUST START
    • Just start right now.
    • Like right now.
    • This is the perfect time to start anything.
  • DEADLINE
    • Learn to give yourself a deadline and follow it.
    • You will always procrastinate unless you have a panic button of urgency.
    • Nearing a deadline gives you a sense of starting right now.
  • REGRET
    • I have always had regret because of procrastination.
    • I know I could have done things better. I could done it way, way better.
    • I have lost many times because of this.
    • So, in order to avoid regrets in future, I do not procrastinate.
    • Regret haunts you forever.
