Which Google search engine alternatives do you use?
I would like to know which Google search engine alternatives you use, if so.
Recently I have read the privacy book (only in german available), which is very interesting.
In this books you find reasons why much more users should use other search engines than Google to keep their own privacy.

My favorites are Qwant:
und startpage.com (Which seem to be the default search engine of the German police. (The information gave me my neighbor). Startpage allows you to search anonymous with google.
What do you think? Do you use alternative search engines?

Tor browser + duckduckgo is a good combo for anonymity

you can set this url as the default search engine in tor browser.
The results are not as good as google, but for most things it is more than sufficient!
I use Startpage currently it's pretty good but I'm open to alternates...thanks for sharing!
Sometimes I use bing and duckduckgo, but I tend to drop back to goolag. I tried yandex, but it seems to be optimized for kyrilic/Slavic languages.
