Thank you very much and thanks for the support @teamsouthafrica.
PPK Tech has been using Avast for 10 years.
Thank you for the information! Will make use of avast? What do you think about Windows bitdefender?
If you use Bitdefender then stick with it as it is a very good malware detector.
The Avast free edition goes head to head with the R200 Bitdefender plus. Avast: 99.6%, Bitdefender: 99.9% detection rate.
Windows has their own antivirus called Windows defender and it's already installed on Windows, but I would install a second antivirus to be safe. Thanks:)
Thank you for your recommendations @ppktech. I just had a bad run with viruses and malware. My son put off Bitdefender because he wanted to install something and the program would not allow it. And the moment he did that my laptop was under siege with this viruses. It took him days to get it back to functioning!
Great post! We already use Avast! Upvoted!
Good to know. I am a bit of a fanboy.
