Petition to Pardon Edward Snowden
I've written several things following the Edward Snowden case. I reviewed the movie, and the book on which it was based, and resteemed a recent interview. There's now a petition online for President Obama to pardon Snowden before he leaves office. He's on kind of a roll recently, though he's mostly shortening sentences (clemency) rather than issuing full pardons.
Also no guaranty that he wouldn't be charged with something new if Obama issued a pardon for pending charges. But the pardon would be a good first step.
True, true. I think he'd actually welcome a trial, from what I've seen. That would raise the issue's profile in a big way, for an extended period, and a whole lot of stuff would enter court records.
Seem reasonable.
If Hillary( and many of her staff) are not charged and prosecuted then neither should he be.
