I played for church this morning, then spent the afternoon doing errands with my wife. After checking in on the dogs, we went to a dinner sponsored by the Abu Bekr Shrine Chanter's Unit at a local winery. Prime rib and great company. Came home and now going to work on classes for tomorrow before trying to get some reading done.

For church, I played Ricahrd Proulx's Prelude on Land of Rest, accompanied the choir from the organ on K. Lee Scott's Giver of Every Perfect Gift, played the offertory on the piano (an arrangement of Bind Us Together by Mark Hayes), and the postlude was Karg Elert's Nun Danket Alle Gott. I did sneak the main theme for the TV show Pinky and the Brain into the children's time.
