Cinco de Mayo
Another day. It began with working on class stuff: reading and grading papers. The most disappointing part of the morning was reading a class evaluation where the student recommended dispensing with the class entirely as they didn't get anything out of it. I have a feeling it was more to hurt me than to be productive, but it hurt still. I practiced the piano for a bit. After lunch, I dropped my wife off at work and went to the church I play at for practice. Afterwards, I came home and played video games for an hour before beginning dinner and going to pick up my wife. For dinner, we had Turkish Wetburgers, Hasbrowns, Caramelized Onions, and Sweet peas. Are currently watching the last of Season 1 of Clone Wars and hopefully will start Season 2.
On the piano, i worked on a pair of Mendelssohn Songs without Words and three pieces based on hymn tunes for the church service on Sunday.
On the organ, I practice BWV 630 and 631. Also spent some time on the prelude to BWV 536. I ended the session with a recording of the postlude from last Sunday.
