Distress - Dr. Kris Rizzotto | Hauptwerk Hereford Cathedral

Latvian Brazilian Dr. Kris Rizzotto holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Organ Performance from the American Organ Institute at the University of Oklahoma, a Master of Music in Sacred Music and Organ Performance from East Carolina University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Magna cum Laude). This arrangement on DISTRESS from Walker's Southern Harmony (1835) works both as an introduction to the hymn “O Christ, the Healer, We Have Come” or as a solo piece. Dr. Kris dedicated it to friend, Alice Boyd. I recorded this on the Hereford Cathedral sample set (Lavender Audio).
