SecondLive is more than just a social network, it’s a portal to the Metaverse. Some argue that SecondLive has never been built specifically for business purposes and it will be difficult to convert this social platform into one. In reality, SecondLife has been a very efficient communication and marketing tool for many companies for quite some time now. With the advent of blockchain technology, we are seeing these trends come back into play with renewed enthusiasm and vigor.
The 2nd dimension of the Metaverse is coming. There will be 7 billion people in this dimension and a maximum of 1000x what we see now. We need to create infrastructure that is scalable — servers, networks, client browsers and protocols and so on. This is SecondLife’s true mission.
