This poor tree just can’t figure it out. Whatever snow we get today should melt in the next few days. Good thing because I still have leaves to pick up! This is the second snowfall of this season. Usually by #3-4, it’s here to stay.

Hello janton! Thank you. It’s hard to get good pictures with snow since it likes to reflect all that light. That’s one plus of snow though, light at night!
As for the leaves, yes we had a bunch of grass in our backyard die from winter kill. So I’d rather not lose anymore. Plus, less cleanup to do in the spring.

Have you been to the top of your grain bin lately?
Ha! Yes, but he says the only soil he knows how to work with is flat, clay soil. He made a comment awhile ago about how winter is expense because we have to buy so much snow gear. He said maybe we should novena somewhere warmer. I said, “See! Now you’re getting it!” Oh if only. Unless something extreme happens, I’m pretty certain we’ll be here till he retires.

So crazy! It’s been in the upper 80s all week! Finally going to get more normal tomorrow! 60s!!! I cannot wait! But I’m not ready for snow!

You know there are plenty of farm fields south of you that your husband could manage? It's too early for snow!!! Time to move! :-D
