Seasonchallenge - Easter
For this week's #seasonchallenge I will show you how we celebrate Easter.
We start with decorating and colouring eggs on Thursday. Also Saturday is another day for colouring them. Traditionally the first egg is red. I decided instead of colours to use stickers. I cannot do that without Furry's approval.
Yes, she approved them and even managed to knock one on the floor. :-)
The next thing we prepare is the sweet bread. This picture is from another Easter as this year we prefer to buy our Easted sweet bread. All bakeries are working round the o'clock making different kinds of sweet breads - with almonds, wallnuts, chocolate, raisins, jam or Turkish delight- serves any taste.
Families gather round the table for lunch or supper. Traditional dish is lamb, rice, salad with lettuce and spring onion.
The holiday continues on the next day.

We have exactly the same traditions on this holiday. And guess what? I used stickers too this year. 🙂
And I baked all day on Saturday... Sweet bread with walnuts filling.

I was busy, indeed. Baking, cooking, kids driving me crazy...the usual "traditions" around Easter. 🙂
