SEAPHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST WEEK #34 - Theme - Sea and Sunsets

My entry into the #seaphotography contest hosted by @marc-allaria. This weeks theme is Sea and Sunsets.

I love sunset by the sea! So hard to just choose one... but here it is and she was an absolute beauty this day! We were down on the beach at Rainbow Beach at Coolangatta in Queensland, Australia. We were with the family, my husband was out surfing and the most stunning glow came over the sky as the sun went down. Everything was glowing rose pink and orange and the reflection of the splendid colours from the sunset was reflecting in the long wave break making the glow even more intense. It was a spectacular afternoon... by the time my husband exited the water (which was a lot later than I like - shark risk) the only photo I could get of him was his silhouette but the strong colours lasted a long time until the sun went down.
