GIANT CLAMS

The Island Garden City of Samal has a giant clam farm or they named it Taclobo Farm located in Adecor Samal del Norte, the farm is placed in the middle of the ocean beside the little island called Malipano wherein if it is low tide you can touch and see them clearly.

We all know that clam is already one of the endangered species, so glad to know that there is this sanctuary in Samal and other places in the Philippines such as San Salvador Island in Masinloc, Zambales and more that preserve them.

There are giant clams in deep and shallow water from the side. It was a perfect timing the last time we visited here because we had a closed encounter with these amazing sea creatures.
It looks like they're dancing in my eyes because of the little wave.
God they are truly beautiful!
