The Truth Behind Vegan Collagen Sources

in #seamoss5 years ago

Did you know that you don't have to consume animal based collagen products to get the benefits of collagen? Given that so many people are unaware of Vegan collagen sources I wanted to share this with you.

There is a natural plant based product you can get, called Sea Moss, which is an amazing source of plant based collagen. Being plant based this is a smaller form of collagen fiber that is able to assimilate with the human body more effectively than animal based collagen.

Now, the cool thing about this is that the bigger cosmetics companies are waking up to this, and they are starting to research how various types of seaweed can be used to improve the effectiveness of their products.

But there's something you need to know about this. You'll soon start to hear all sorts of scare campaign related stories that illustrate the dangers of Sea Moss. Some are even going so far as to say that this naturally occurring plant can cause all kinds of complications, like compromising the gut, ulcerations and internal bleeding; but it's just not true.

Take for example this website:

Look at the shaded yellow section where the listing states that this Sea Moss Targets things like:

  • Boosting the immune system
  • Being anti-inflammatory
  • Being anti-bacterial
  • Preventing premature aging
  • Promoting healthy heart function, and
  • Metabolizing blood sugar levels

Then take a look at the Known Side Effects. How can something that is known to boost the immune system also suppress the immune system (in children or otherwise)? And that's just one of the contradictions.

Women in the Caribbean have long used Sea Moss as a substitute for breast milk when they are unable to feed their own children. And many make it a key part of their diet to ensure their children are getting the minerals they need to grow up healthy and strong.

Ok, so that's just one website (which I've omitted details about to protect their identity) but as you begin to dig around you'll see more and more detail that is crafted in such a way as to scare you off learning about this marine vegetable that has been used for generations. Even as far back as during the the Irish Potato Famine in the 1800's.

What does this have to do with Vegan collagen sources? Well, you don't need to spend boo koo bucks on the products they churn out with sod all natural benefit to them. You can easily make your own Sea Moss Gel at home for less than a fraction of the price for an even better effect.

Enjoy!
