Seagulls joined seals.

On May 12 I celebrated Mother's Day in Marina Del Rey. It is a place near the ocean a little to the west from Los Angeles, a specially equipped bay with berths for mooring pleasure yachts.

Ashore here everything is equipped for a festival on nature: covered arbors with barbeque grills, lawns with flowerbeds, toilets.

Right there at the mooring seals, as it seems, also have a family gathering. Here hunting is prohibited and nobody bothers them here. However, they stunk this part of the harbor quite strongly.

Seagulls sat down next to them. Why it is unclear. There are plenty of other places where they could have sat and rested. I think that seals here are quietly being fed and seagulls got wind of it.
