Introducing ''Pananglitan''

I went outside and saw my father is coming. I directly went to him and asked what he got. My father said, here the "pananglitan" we call it "pananglitan" I don't know in other places, if what do they call on this one. Might you are wondering and say it is a snake. Yeah! it's like a snake. But this one is very yummy. My father will be the one to cook thru oil and soy sauce only with garlic and union. We still eat this one. Super delicious, when you try that you will truly say it's yummy and for sure you want more. Of course, you will not dare to eat because of the look, as what they say don't judge the book by its cover. It is same on this fish.

My father got two and because this fish is very affordable, he did not sell instead he cook and he gave us his children. I just have coffee and bread for my father. He said the weather in the sea is not good, there is a strong wind that's why he went home early.

Later you will see more if what else the fisherman could get into the sea, I am hoping that through my post you will learn that not only fish, crabs, shrimp is the sea, but there are more and more other creature living in the sea water. My youngest son says it is a snake before he doesn't want to eat it as it's snake, but later on, as he tried, he keeps on asking me to cook like this because it's yummy, Yeah truly it is yummy, I promise you.

So, to my father:

Better luck next time Pa, not everyday you will jackpot. There are really days which they went home zero, no fish even for a viand only. That's the reality and that's the life of fisherman here. No fish? Then, still, there is tomorrow.

Hoping that you won't say it's a snake in the sea because it's not. That creature still a human being food. How about you guys, what do you call on this fish? Next time if my father got it again, I will show you how to cook step by step. I will volunteer to cook and I will take a photo and video for you to believe me that it is yummy. I am hoping that tomorrow my father will get so many fish because they are out of rice now. For this time, he will be eating this "pananglitan" then tomorrow might be a yummy foods for them.
