Love yourself.
Greetings friends and brothers.
Love is the most important feeling in life. When we learn to love people, to value them as they are, we can live in harmony with our environment.
For this the main rule is to love ourselves first, because it is impossible to offer something that you do not have ...
I think that a person who learns to be generous with himself, is mature enough to be with others, a person who is not generous with himself, would be selfish with everyone around him, in the same way, how a person can love you really, if do not love selft first. This is so true that in the word of God we find something about it:
Matthew 22: 36-39 Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR1960)
36 Master, what is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is similar: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Jesus Christ tells you here, that you will love as you love yourself, therefore if you do not love yourself or if you are cruel to yourself, in this way you will be with others, and it could hardly be said that you love someone with sincerity.
But it is not that it is bad or not, it is about seeing the importance that this can have in our life. For example, I as a mother, I must think about my health, to feed myself well, to rest, finally I have to take care of myself, this is to love myself ... if I do not take care of myself, I could get sick and then, who would take care of my daughters ?, would not be selfish to think about my health or my diet, even in an appropriate rest, because if I am well, I can be well for my daughters, I would be with good energy to take care of them and give them everything they need.
Therefore, it is important that we love each other, take care of ourselves without feeling selfish or guilty. Only by loving ourselves can we love others.
