📷 "Good angel of Peace" in Kuban
Hello, Steemians! Hi friends! The tradition to establish monuments to heroes, celebrities, historical events, goes from a very long time, however, history is created not only by famous, but often ordinary people.
In recent decades, the tradition of memorials for kindness and generosity has spread around the world to all those whom we can present today in the generalized image of good angels.
Kuban was honored in 2011, when the sculpture was installed on a column in the city Park. Krasnodar became the 30th city in a row, where there was a "good angel of the World."
This architectural and sculptural composition embodies the interaction of different spheres of life on the basis of high laws of human existence and mercy, kindness and mutual understanding. Such Angels symbolize people of different nationalities and religions living on our planet.
Embodying the indissoluble spiritual connection of generations, Krasnodar sculptors wrote on the pedestal of the monument the names of people who left a bright trace in the history of the Russian state.
The composition itself is made by Alexander Appolonov and Victor Syrmolotov in the classical architectural traditions of modern art, and each of its symbol is filled with deep meaning. It embodies the aspiration of people from earth to heaven, from the ordinary to the eternal.
The center of the sculpture was a high marble column, crowned with a beautiful figure of an angel walking on the hemisphere, representing the Earth.
In the hands of a Good angel is a "Golden" dove — a symbol of Peace and hope for a bright future and prosperity of our vast planet. With the appearance of this sculpture in Krasnodar-the capital of Kuban has acquired the status of " the City where good and humanism reigns» :-)
The good angel of the World is called to revive and increase the spiritual power of our Fatherland, to embody the call for Peace and mercy for a long time!
