First staking of SCT!

Hi Steemit Friends,

The first post I’ve posted with SCT has been paid out and it is the first time I tried to claim the tokens via steem-engine. Before payout I have already told myself I am going to stake some to support other users using the SCT tag and also try to earn some curation. But more on that later. For whatever reason, I couldn’t claim via the one click button on steem-engine (possibility as I am on the mobile) so I have gone through the traditional way of doing this via Steem Connect.

So I have around 128 SCT tokens and claimed it through via steem connect. A json was created and it took a few minutes for the tokens to appear in my wallet.

I then put in a sell order and then stake 60 SCT so I can start supporting other authors. As I am starting out, I don’t expect to have a huge impact on the voting but I am happy to produce articles and continue growing with curations and giving back to the community.

I’ve never really used Steem-engine to buy and sell before so it was great experience. Most of my tokens are earned via playing games or gifted by other players. Having tokens riding off this method definitely will benefit projects like SCT where people have a portion of their power and feel like they are doing their part.
