안녕하세요, @feelsogood 입니다.

Metamask로 많이 알려진 컨센시스(ConsenSys)가 이더리움 가상머신(EVM, Ethereum Virtual Machine) 컴파일러 엘르(Elle)를 공개했습니다.

이더리움 스마트 컨트랙트에서 버그로 인해 손실이 발생했던 TheDAO, Parity wallet에서의 사례가 있었는데, 엘르는 CompCert 프로젝트처럼 이런 버그들이 발생하지 않도록 막는 컴파일러입니다.

앞으로 계속 발전될 엘르 컴파일러가 스마트 컨트랙트의 버그를 예방할 것이라는 부분이 긍정적이어서 기대가 됩니다.

실제 사용후기들이 나오면 알 수 있겠지만, 버그를 막을 수 있다는 점에서 실제 피해를 줄일 수 있어 기대가 됩니다 ㅎ
