Steem Engine and Tribes gave us a preview of what SMT and Communities would look like when they do come out. I love how Steemians themselves come out of 3rd party 2nd layer solutions side by side with Steemit.

This is the true meaning of decentralization, not having to rely on only 1 party to come out with great tech to improve the blockchain.

Also, i do wonder how long before Steem Engine tokens gets listed on @coingecko, they can't just trade in Steem Engine forever!
