Word of life.

The Bible (old and new testament) has the capability to lead you astray without the person of the Holy Spirit to give its revelational understanding. Without the Holy Spirit, the Bible is just a book.
I've seen muslims and atheists who have memorized the scriptures better than most Christians I know but, they never received that conviction and transformation. The letter itself cannot transform a man without the ministry of the Holy Spirit. As a matter of fact, it's dangerous. The letter killeth, without the Spirit of Life.
Even unto us in the body of Christ, there's a dire need to flow in the revelational understanding of the word. It's easier to quote scriptures, we do that often. If we could flow in rhema as much as we do in logos, we would be better people and better equipped to stand for God and walk with Him. Remember, even satan knows the Bible. It doesn't make him a Christian.
I believe God is calling us deeper into the realm of revelation from where genuine transformation is received. There has never been a greater need for true, revelational Christians in the world like right now. As advocates of the Word and ambassadors of God on earth, understand that to bring heaven on earth goes beyond how many scriptural verses you can quote. It boils down to how much you understand and live by. We become powerless to transform our world when we're prayerless to be transformed by the Word.
Jesus said, the Word is spirit and life. Until you receive the Spirit of the Word and manifest that life, you're still playing. Without the Holy Spirit, you're just another religious vessel.
