Steem City Niigata is going to have its first meet up!
@steemcityniigata, the Steemit.com account for our local Steem community here in Niigata City, has been in action for about three weeks now.
Lots of ideas are brewing, and lots of people seem to be interested in the burgeoning community aimed at building a real life, rubber-meets-road Steem economy, trading hub, and support network here in the city, both online and off.
As such, it’s time to have the first meet up! There’s a great international buffet in town, complete with a kids playroom, so us Niigata Steem-Os can gather while our energized progeny tear it up in the adjoining room, where we can watch them through the glass as we dine and discuss all things Steem, free market, and community. Gonna be fun!
This is the first time I’ve been involved in anything like this, and I am tickled pink that there is an enthusiatic crypto community here in this city I’ve always loved, but which has always felt a little...sleepy. The people in this group are entrepreneurs, educators, parents, anarchists, musicians, and much, much more.
I am hoping that through our varied skill sets and connections, we can start to forge a resilient and strong web of mutual free market support, in view of affording all independent members of the group greater financial freedom, and an increase in capacity for the pursuit of their own happiness, and the goals they deem worthwhile and important in their respective journeys.
*And the other goal of this group, in my view, is to just fuckin’ have fun!!!
If this initiative continues to grow and be successful, I hope other folks in other areas might do the same, and start their own little hubs of real support from real, local individuals, thereby decreasing dependence on violent governments, and increasing freedom, both financial and otherwise.

This is great. In my country Nigeria we have also been doing meetups here and there. Hopefully with time it will evolve to something like this.

Great thought for the strong developments of the great community. People like entrepreneur, educators, anarchyists etc are the back bone of the developed community, I think positive and successive results will be come out from the collaboration. Thanks for the great share.
