Spaceship of the Day.
The Carrier is a unique design to the Earth Defence Force being the only militarty ship designed just to carry fighterships. The ship carries on the human tradition of the aircraft carrier that were used in the old pre-space days of earths war-torn past. While many of the large military capital ships are capable of carrying fighterships only the Trogan class Carrier has this as it's only purpose. Seen by many as a pointless vanity project, even within the EDF leadership, 5 of the ships were commissioned and brought into service with each ship capable of carrying upto 50 fighterships each.
