Spaceship of the day.
The Interstellar mk5 Drop-ship was designed and built by the Chrom military for their failed invasion of Ji space. The Chrom system is found at the edge of Federation space and it's people are reknowned for their dour attitude which is also reflected in their ship design. The invasion of Ji space was in retaliation for years of piracey by the Ji Hunters and is one of the greatest military blunders in Federation history. While the Chrom fleet massed on the edge of Ji space the Ji nerve gassed the entire fleet killing all of the invading army. The Drop-ship that was designed to carry upto ten soildiers then somehow found itself on the second hand ship market and an enterprising individual bought many of them and converted them to become taxi cabs, their ability to travel in space or in an atmosphere making them perfect for their new role.
