Linus Carl Pauling - American chemist

Linus Pauling was an American peace activist, biochemist,chemist, author, and educator.  Pauling was born in February. 28. 1901 Portland, Oregon, U.S. Pauling was one of the founders of the fields of quantum chemistry and molecular biology.

Pauling married Ava Helen Miller on June 17, 1923. The marriage lasted until Ava Pauling's death in 1981. They had four children.
