Blockchain technology is now making its way into science, the technology can help scientists in their collaborative, funding and publishing activities, this are the key elements is a science lifestyle. Blockchain can help improve scientific collaboration through a decentralized network that tap talents all over the globe towards a common cause, I believe that this can improve productivity and get things done through collaborative problem solving in a decentralized environment where peers review a scientific problem and work together towards solving this problem, collaborators will be incentivized for their efforts through smart contracts.

One of the projects that aims to tap o the key scientist pillars that form science lifestyle is science root, a scientific blockchain project that aims t solve problems in scientific collaboration, funding and publishing, scienceroot plans to build a platform that connects scientists and empowers them by giving them tools that they can use in their scientific work, they include a collaborative platform, a funding platform powered by smart contracts and a publishing platform. In this article I'm going to take a look at the projects goals, the platforms and why I believe this is a game changer in the scientific world.

Scienceroot.

Scienceroot is a blockchain projects currently in its early stages of developments, they project aims is to empower scientists through an ecosystem that connects scientists an offer them tools that they can use to collaborate on their scientific research by sharing ideas, reviewing scientific work in an effort to improve the efficiency of their work. The platform will be powered by its own scienceroot tokens in an effort to tokenize its economy allowing a system that incentivize scientists to work and be rewarded for their efforts. The platform will also feature a crowdfunding platform that will allow scientists to raise funds towards scientific projects in a transparent and open platform to improve transparency when it comes to the use of funds where contributors can see where they funds are going and how they are used. The platform will also feature a publishing platform where scientists can publish their work which will be stored in a secure distributed ledger which is secure and immutable preventing redistribution of materials. Scientists will benefit from their content and will be rewarded using scienceroot tokens creating an income for them. Scientists with already published content can integrate them with modern Technolgies using the platform allowing a distributed database of scientific journals that recorded for generations to come, publishing through blockchain will help curb redistribution of content and copyright issues.

Through the collaboration platform, scientits will be able to work in a collaborative manner where each participant is instantly rewarded for their efforts, scientists will be able to share their ideas and connect with each other based on their interests and skills. The platform aim is to create a database of scientific work where scientific information is stored in a distributed database that ensures immutability of records.

Our target is to create a centralized portal which offers an entire list of government, corporate and private grants, funds, and jobs from all over the world. We will make applying for funds a lot easier, more transparent and intuitive. It will be accessible only to our registered researchers, academics, scientists and organizations searching or offering funding and job opportunities. Funding will be offered in fiat currency or our own currency called Science Token. The decision will remain with the offering organization.

Sciencroot will also offer a platform for scientists to market and economize their work through the decentralized marketplace that is powered by smart contracts allowing automatic market for scientific services using sciencroot tokens as payment to reduce cross border financial processing and lower the costs of payment processing. The platform will offer a platform where services such as writing, research and developments are done in a peer to peer ecosystem eliminating the need of middlemen who inflate the prices for scientific services.
