Hello steemians !!!
All of you might have seen onion(Allium cepa), But i am sure only few of you know about its flower .
Today we will know about these flower.
These picture were taken a month ago by me.

Onion was first described by Carl Linnaeus in 1753 in his book Species plantarum.
Onions have cylindrical, hollow leaves with enlarged bulb that develops at ground level.Flower are produced in rounded umbel with stalk of 2-4 ft. All flower stem originate from same point.Umbel is about 5 cm in diameter and consisting of many small flower. These are whitish purple in color.
